CrossFit Pisgah Nutrition Programs

Eating is how we fuel our bodies for all our activities - from working and training, to thinking, sleeping and healing.  Food, however, is more than fuel for most of us - it is deeply tied to our emotions and identity. It is a vehicle for bringing us together. It represents our traditions and cultures. It can become a passion and a source of joy in our lives.  This is a great thing! We should enjoy our food and the people we share meals with.

The challenge for many is finding balance.  We may know what we like to eat but determining what we should feed our bodies (and when) is often more complicated.  The stress that this complexity can cause is real and takes its toll on our health as well.

Whether we are wanting to make changes to our weight or body composition, or desiring to feel more energized and improve our overall health, nutrition is the key.  Our bodies are unique and therefore have individual and changing needs.  Our desire is to help you get a clear picture of what your nutritional needs actually are and then examine how your current dietary pattern measures up to this. We can then help you formulate a plan to reach your specific goals, and help you to make lasting changes to your nutrition which will lead to better overall physical health.

We can also offer more in-depth nutritional coaching for those who are interested in getting a greater level of involvement and support while making these sometimes difficult behavioral changes.  Meal planning, recipes, and regular check-ins are included in some of the options listed below.

You can do it, and we can help.

Basic Assessment $85

If you are putting the work in yet not getting the results you want, the answer is almost always nutrition.  We are all individuals and have greatly varying nutritional needs.  Like most things, we need to know where we are before we can confidently head in the direction of our goals.  This assessment helps to examine current dietary patterns and highlights areas which may need attention.

Dietary Analysis

An in-depth analysis of the actual intake of macro and micro nutrients in your personal dietary pattern taken from a two-day food log.

Basal Metabolic Rate

Your weight, age, sex, and activity level will be used to determine your BMR.  This will give you an estimate as to how many calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins your body needs to sustain your activity and life.

Discussion and Planning

We will look at the results of your analysis together and discuss the findings.  Using this information, we will help you make a plan to better align your individual needs with your actual intake.
